The NIVSTABOARD™ can also be used with the curriculum.
The children can draw a graph in their maths books and each time they earn the chance to use the board they fill in the graph accordingly. e.g. Mon Tues Wed Thurs Fri. During the children's time with the board they are encouraged to use addition and subtraction in a fun way, two of the most important mathematical skills of today.
The game can be played to improve hand eye co-ordination, over arm and under throwing and catching of a ball. The children are also getting exercise without realising it.
The children can write their own diary account of their time whilst playing the game. This makes the children accountable for their own actions and works on one of the most important life skills, being honest and ones own conscience.
The NIVSTABOARD™ is truly a game for the future of British Education and if applied in the correct way within the school, it will develop morality in the playground and add incentive to in class activities. In turn the individual child will earn a turn with the game. Each school may have a certificate that is given out in assemblies for the person(s) who has earned the most turns with the board during the week. At the end of the school year the child that has earned the most turns wins a NIVSTABOARD™.
