I remember an Activity. Taught for us as training Teachers to do when we become a Teacher.
I don’t think I’ve ever done it with School Children.
You will.
On signs, write eg. Skating, Cycling, Ballet, Swimming, Running, Tennis, Bowls, Art & Texting.
A Child holds the sign one at a time intervals.
Firstly tennis.
To the Group or Class of Children.
They then start playing tennis acting etc. But with no items, eg. no tennis racquet or tennis ball.
Note. All acting is just the child with no equipment or devices.
Then another Group of Children each pretend to take a photo.
Using their hands, body language.
The group of children acting playing tennis then pause as if they been photographed etc.
Repeat until all Activities acting & photographing done.
Then swap roles.
Actors become photographers & photographers become Actors.
All you need is one vivid, paper or cardboard & the Activities can be done anywhere outside, in a hall, in the classroom, gym or playground.
